Yesterday I walked into my office and it felt as if I had stepped into a freezer. It may have been 95 degrees outside but it was definitely around 60 degrees inside. Of course I didn’t have a sweater or wrap to put on, so I had to shiver the day away. This little episode made begin to think, in terms of fashion, what is a stylish way to deal with the air conditioning at work?
There are probably many of us who work in offices where the air conditioner is turned up to freezing during the summer months or at least it feels that way. So, how can we look fashionable when we walk in from the heat and need to throw something on to stay deal with the cold inside temperature?
Jackets really don’t look good this time of the year unless it is a lighweight summer jacket. A cute cardigan or shrug is the perfect item to have. You can get one in a neutral color like black, grey or cream and just keep it at the office. A shrug or cardigan is light enough where you won’t look out of place but it still serves the purpose of keeping you warm.
