Professional Background and Qualifications

As a professional with over 20 years of corporate experience, Valerie has witnessed first-hand  the importance of image and style to one’s success in the workplace.   Her educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and a Master’s in Human Relations. She has worked the retail floor dealing with everyday customer concerns. As a manager at a major department store, she oversaw the visual merchandising and organizational side. Later, working in Human Resources at a Fortune 100 company, she saw how polish, professionalism and dress could advance a person.

She is a trained and certified image consultant for men and women in style and color and is a member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI).

Family and Personal Perspective

As a busy working woman, wife, and basketball mom, Valerie walks the walk of the challenges that working women have with finding time to put together that polished look.   Living in a home with her husband and teenage son she also understands the challenges that men face in trying to look good everyday.
